Our team is in search of Full Stack Developers with a focus on PHP and Javascript (Typescript/Angular) as we continue to build a team of passionate developers to support our plans for growth and help set the future direction of the company.
The successful candidate will work alongside an existing talented team and in this small but dynamic and ambitious company that's still in it's startup phase. This job is an opportunity to come in on the ground floor of a growing company - whose software has already been used by Scottish Power, Tesla, HelloFresh and Qatar Airways to name just a few clients - as we scale up.
What you'll do:

Write beautiful, maintainable and well commented code in an effort to develop and maintain our B2B SaaS applications.

Launch and support new features used by thousands of users the world over.

Contribute to the planning and management of development projects

Manage and improve our cloud based infrastructure.

Participate in code reviews for your peers and mentor teammates through participation in knowledge sharing sessions

Create system documentation that's easy to understand

Exploring new ideas, technology and solutions and how they can be implemented in our existing services.

Work closely with the customer success team to deliver a better user experience
What you'll bring:
-
Extensive experience as a full stack developer, ideally 5+ years in the industry.

Strong skill sets and demonstrative work in Extensive experience in object oriented PHP programming
-
Experience with Typescript and/or Javascript (ideally with Angular and Angular.JS experience)

Multiple years of experience in debugging complex issues, all the way from the browser or session logs, through to the application stack.

The ability to concisely explain technical problems to non technical team members
-
A desire to create software and code that is of high quality, performant and easy for teammates to understand.

Motivation to understand our business and our users

Experience working with and contributing to the open-source community is a plus

BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, physics, mathematics or a related field, or equivalent work experience

High level of familiarity with relational databases (SQL, query optimization,normalisation, etc.)

Knowledge of software development concepts (Design Patterns, Unit Testing, Security, etc.)

Experience with a VCS.

Ideally with familiarity of Angular (2+), Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, Git, AWS, Laravel, Docker and Golang
